It's no longer a rumor and Welch Village just announced 30% off on 2022-2023 daily tickets.

Daily lift tickets for the upcoming 2022-23 season will be available in our Online Store for 30% off regular price starting October 31st and ending at NOON on November 2nd.

These special Halloween tickets will be fully transferable. They can be used on any day we are open during the 2022-2023 season and they can be used by anyone.  So yes...they could be perfect holiday gifts!

Registration for the 2022 MSC Winter Carnival opens October 1st.  The carnival will be held Jan. 21 - 23 at Big Snow Resort in Wakefield MI.  Check out the trip detail on our "Trip" page.

The MSC Winter Carnival is back for 2022 at Big Snow Resort in Michigan.  The dates are January 21st - 23rd.  More to come!

The 2020-2021 season has ended and it's time to look forward to next season (sans Covid 19 we hope).  With the new season there will be changes to your Board of Directors. I will be stepping down after four years as President.  It's been a great (but challenging) run. Thank you all for your support.

We recently asked for nominations for the 2021-2022 board.  Nominations have closed with two nominations received: Pat Kaiser for Treasurer and Dave Moberg for Social Director. Pat and Dave will be replacing Janice Meyer who has served 4+ years as Treasurer and Lisa Moncrief who has served three years as a Social Director.  Thank you Janice and Lisa. Welcome Pat and Dave.

As I mentioned, I will be stepping down as President, but will remain on the board, taking an open Trip Director position. Janice Meyer will assume the role as President. I will also retain the role as Advisor to the new board.

Retaining their existing board positions are Dave Seltz (Membership Director), Courtney Quinn (Social Director), Marcia Woodward (MSC Representative), Pat Cahoon (IT/Web Master), Steve Fager (Trip Director) and Ron Zytkovicz (Publications).  Thank you all!.

Since these positions are unopposed, Club by-laws allow for Board of Director approval in lieu of elections.  Board approval was obtained at its meeting on 03/10/21.  The changes will  be effective at the end of our fiscal year on April 30, 2021.

Hey SkiHawks!

It's hard to believe that the 2020 - 2021 ski & ride season will be coming to a close in just a number of weeks.  In a way, I'm glad it's almost over as Covid-19 restrictions and the weather has wreaked havoc on our plans for the season. It’s time to be optimistic and look forward toward next season.

Have you considered serving on the SkiHawks Board of Directors Being on the board is a great opportunity? In addition to help direct the club for the next year, you will get the chance to meet and work closely with a great group of people, as well as meeting many more of our membership than you would normally.  You will also receive up to a $200 credit that can be applied towards 2021 / 2022 SkiHawk events.

There are 10 opportunities on the Board of 11 Directors:

• Treasurer
• Trip Directors (2)
• Social Directors (2)
• Publications Director
• IT Director
• MSC Delegate
• Membership Director

The duties of each position are detailed in the SkiHawk By Laws which can be found on our website .Link.

If you are interested on serving on the board next year please complete the Self Nomination Form by March 7th.  Go to poll page. In the event of multiple nominees for one position, online elections will be held between March 20 and March 27.  Elections are not required for unopposed positions.
