This trip will be a five-day and four-night excursion with the ability to ski up to four days.
We will be staying in condos in the Center Village of Copper Mountain. While not ski-in, ski-out, the condos are just a short walk from the American Eagle lift.

Copper Mountain has been a favorite SkiHawks destination due to its value and varied terrain. The SkiHawks are not the only ones who like Copper Mountain. For 2023 Ski Magazine rated Copper Mountain in the top 11 Western resorts. Ski Magazine's ranking.
With three distinct mountain villages, and four distinct mountain areas, the resort is known for its ease of navigation. It is naturally divided for different levels–including terrain for riding, you will find all the makings of a ski trip to remember. 46% of runs are beginner and intermediate, and most every chair provides access to some of these runs. Advanced and experts will have plenty to choose from as well with 54% of runs rated black or double black. Check out the Winter trail map.
The Center Village at Copper Mountain serves up all of the must haves for skiing / riding and après ski. The Village offers everything from cold craft brews and cocktails, to steaks, sushi, shopping, and more.

2,500 acres of skiable terrain served by 24 chair lifts.

The resort has a 2,738ft. vertical drop from the summit elevation of 12,441 feet to its base at 9,712 feet.

Lodging
Lodging accommodations will be at the Village Square and Mountain Plazza condominiums located in the heart of Copper Mountain's Center Village.
Accommodations are two-bedroom, two bath condos that sleep four (with king / queen or two twins per unit). Each condo also has a fold out. Condos have a fully equipped kitchen, cable TV and WIFI. A private room option is available for those that desire privacy (within a shared condo).
Amenities include 2 large hot tubs and access to the Copper Mountain Athletic Club.
The American Eagle lift is less than a 5-minute walk from the condos.
Restaurants, shopping and nightlife are just a short walk away. Preview the Village Map.
Rostered SkiHawk members have registration priority until Sept. 15th, 2023.
A minimum deposit of $500 will reserve your spot.
- $1,282 "Early Bird Special" if deposit is received by Oct. 10th
- $1,332 if deposit is received after Oct. 10th and by Nov. 15th.
- $1,382 if deposit is received after Nov. 16th.

Payment Schedule
- Initial Deposit: $500 due upon registration
- Second Payment: $500 due by Nov. 15th, 2023 ($1,000 total including the first deposit)
- Final Payment: Remaining balance due by Dec. 15th, 2023
Lift Tickets
You can ski or ride up to four days on this trip. We will have onsite luggage storage and changing facilities on Feb. 8th to facilitate your 4th day of skiing.
There are two options for lifts: Discounted group lift tickets or the IKON Pass.
Group Lift Tickets: 3 days: $285 4 days: $360
IKON Pass: Purchase the IKON Pass directly from IKON Pass.

Flight Information
We will be flying Southwest Airlines to take advantage of their lower air fares and policy of 2 free bags. (A ski bag and a boot bag count as one bag.) A maximum of 22 seats are available.

Feb. 04, 2024: MSP to DEN
Depart: Flight #775 at 10:20AM. Arrive at 11:35AM
Feb. 08, 2023: DEN to MSP
Depart: Flight #1186 at 6:10PM. Arrive at 9:10PM
If you choose to book your own flight but desire to utilize the SkiHawks' bus transportation to and from Copper Mountain, you must be sure that your flight arrives in DEN prior to 11:30AM. Your return flight to MSP must depart after 8:40 PM. If you are not able to coordinate arrival and departure times, you would have to arrange your own shuttle services at your cost.

We are excited about this trip given the ability to revisit Copper Mountain. its value pricing and timing will save you money and a valuable vacation day.
This trip will fill. On our last trip to Copper Mountain in 2019, almost forty people went along.
Remember, rostered SkiHawk members have registration priority until Sept. 15th, 2023. On Sept. 16th registration is open to all.
