Val Di Fassa is an IKON Pass Resort

Val di Fassa-Canazei is a premier Dolomiti Superski resort in Italy's Dolomites, offering direct access to the 16 mile Sellaronda circuit and over 130 miles of linked slopes. Located at 4,806 feet with high-altitude skiing up to 8,655 feet, featuring a lively village, extensive snowmaking, and scenic, high-alpine terrain.

With the Dolomiti Superski ski pass, you can also travel around the nearby valleys. The Dolomiti Superski is spread over an area of about 741,000 acres in the North-East of Italy, and includes most of the winter ski slopes of the Dolomites. The area consists of 16 ski areas spread over 12 resorts, a total of 774 miles of slopes, 450 ski lifts, it is the largest ski area in the world.

The Trip

We will fly American Airlines into Munich and then Motorcoach to the village of Canazei.

Lodging accomodations will be at the historic Dolomiti, a four star hotel located in the heart of Canazei, close to the Sella Ronda ski lift and aquatic center. The hotel is equipped with spacious dinning rooms, two bars, restaurant pizzeria, and Cafe Kaiserstube.

Val di Fassa Portion

·        Base trip: 9 days, 7 nights at Val di Fassa - Canazei

•   Option: Add 3 nights in Munich

·        4-6 days of skiing (The Dolomiti Superski pass ($420-$625), provides          access to all interconnected Dolomiti Superski resorts including                    Cortina  d'ampezzo and ValGardena)

·        Round trip flight from MSP to Munich

·      Pre-trip introduction party

•   Private motor coach transfers between Munich and Schloss-Club              Dolomiti

·        Lodging, Scholss-Club Dolomiti is located just 100 yards from the Ski Bus stop        or 0.3 miles to the ski lift, breakfast and dinner included with lodging.

·        Welcome Reception at hotel

• Après ski events: Canazei has one of the liveliest après-ski scenes in the region. Gather the group at Paradìs, a quaint cabin right in the village that hosts daily winter music and drinks.
• Non Ski Activities: There are many non ski winter activities that you can do in and around the Canazei village. Venture on your own or we can organize groups. More discussion on these and other activities will occur at the pre trip meeting.
• • You do not need skis to ride the main lifts and experience the dramatic peaks. You can buy single-ride pedestrian lift tickets at the valley stations.
  • Sass Pordoi Cable Car: Take the cable car up to the "Terrace of the Dolomites" at 2,950 meters for jaw-dropping 360-degree views.
  • Dòlaondes Aquatic Center: Located right inside Canazei, this facility features a large wellness area, whirlpools, and saunas, perfect for a relaxing afternoon.
  • QC Terme Dolomiti: Located just a short drive down the valley in Pozza di Fassa, this is a world-class luxury thermal spa. It features outdoor heated pools surrounded by snow, panoramic saunas, and relaxation rooms.
  • Snowshoeing in Val Duron: Rent snowshoes in town and head out on the popular Val Duron loop. The trail is surrounded by massive rock walls and leads to cozy alpine huts serving hot bombardinos (a classic eggnog-and-brandy winter drink)
  • Val Gardena & Ortisei Day Excursion: Join a guided group bus or hire a private shuttle to cross the stunning Sella Pass into the neighboring Val Gardena. These tours spend the afternoon exploring Ortisei, a picturesque town world-famous for its traditional woodcarvings, upscale pedestrian shopping streets, and vibrant café culture.

Lift Tickets
The Dolomiti Super Ski Pass gives you access to over 450 lifts throughout the Dolomiti region. The Dolomiti Superski is affiliated with IKON.

• IKON pass holders are eligible for 7 days lift tickets in the Dolomiti
• IKON Base Pass Holders get 5 days lift tickets in the Dolomiti

Munich Extension Option

Three nights at the 25H Royal Bavarian Hotel includes breakfast-only $525

a 4 star luxury  hotel featuring eclectic rooms, the Middle Eastern restaurant NENI, and the popular Boilerman Bar. Located directly opposite Munich Central Station, making it incredibly accessible for city explorers. Karlsplatz and the Marienplatz Old Town are about a 10 to 15-minute walk away.

Activities in Munich are too numerous to list here.  Basically, you will have an opportunity to choose what you want to do as a group or venture out on your own. Some activities to choose from include:

• RT Base Trip Airfare: $1,348.00*
• RT Airfare if you choose the 3 days in Munich extension: $1,300.00*. That's right, airfare is actually less expensive if you include the Munich extension!

Return flight if you take the Base Trip:

* Due to political uncertainty in the Middle east, airfares remain higher than expected.  We are continuing to monitor airfares and if there is a decrease we will adjust our pricing.

Travel Insurance

Medical assistance on the mountain is not free. If you need ski patrol assistance to get down the mountain it will cost $. Travel insurance is highly recommended, which can be purchased on your own. Also, check to make sure your insurance provider will cover medical treatment while in another country. Trip Registration

We are excited about this trip to Val Di Fassa and stay at the village of Canazei, Italy with the option to spend 3 days in Munich! It is expected that this trip will fill up before the Kick-off meeting.  

Ready to go? 

Payment Schedule:

• Initial deposit of $600 is due at registration.
• 2nd payment of $800 is due by August 1, 2026
• 3rd payment of $800 is due by September 15, 2026
• Final payment of the remaining balance is due by December 15.
