This is the last hurrah of the 2024 / 2025 ski & ride season. Let's get together and celebrate the season at Lutsen's Mountain Meltdown!
Help us bring SkiHawk spirit to Lutsen's Mountain Meltdown, April 4th through the 6th. During the Meltdown, Lutsen guarantees that they will have 40 runs open. In addition, there will be three days of music on the mountain at the Summit Chalet, Scandinavian Deck and the Lofty Gondola Bar. Check out Meltdown Music.
The plan is to do Mountain Meltdown Meet & Ski style. It’s informal so you can customize the event to fit your needs and budget. You choose when you drive up and when you leave. You can stay slope side or off the site. Ski one, two or three days. It's all up to you. Choose the package that fits your time and budget.

Here are a few Meet Up ideas for our time at Lutsen.
Friday: Travel day! with arrivals varying throughout the day. Arrive early & ski!
- 7:00 PM or so, meet at the Moguls Bar & Grill at the Caribou Highlands Lodge to enjoy a cocktail, meet old friends and make some new ones. For those interested there will be live music at the Lofty Gondola Bar, a short walk away at the Lutsen base area. Please wear your SkiHawk hats and other swag so that our new people can find us.
Saturday: Ski & Board
- 9:00 AM - Lifts open - SKI! You can spot rostered SkiHawks by our yellow pole flags, leg bands and bandanas.
- 11:30 - 1:00. Lunch at the Summit Chalet at the top of the Moose Mountain on your own. We will try for table in front, next to the windows, or on the deck. It's 1st come, 1st serve, so look for our yellow swag. Come and go as you wish.
- 3:00 - Scandinavian Deck & the Lofty Gondola - Free bands all afternoon and through the evening. We will try to have a get together about 3:00. Again, SkiHawks, please have your yellow swag.
- Dinner on your own
- 9:00 - The Lofty Gondola - Live music continues.
Sunday: Ski, Ride & Goodbye
- 9:30 Lifts Open
- 11:30 - 1:00. Lunch at the Summit Chalet at the top of the Moose Mountain. Watch for our yellow swag. Come and go as you wish.
- All Afternoon - Free bands at the Scandinavian Deck
- 2:00 The Lofty Gondola Bar. - Meet with the group to toast the end of another great season.
